Jamie Bartlett, the author of the report, said: "Less-secret services could make Britain safer. The more open the Government is, the harder it is for extremist groups to make stories out of silence."

Actually, more intelligent secret services to governments make everything safer, Jamie. And that will be, and some would even say, is being provided sublimely, by stealthy virtual means, with any number of infinitely variable, adaptive and interactive/HyperRadioProActive Memes available for covert deployment and activation.

It appears that you are out of that information loop, Jamie, which is entirely understandable given that its probable security status is Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information at least ..... and the new fangled, string entangling Office of Cyber Security, such an unknown and unheralded quantity and entity.

Thanks for the entertainment though, Demos.

"It is understood that the cut was decided several months ago, by the former government.. "

With the former government proven to be a disastrous apology for successful political leadership and with every passing day, revealed more as a foreign agent asset rather than independent national treasure, is it premature to think that Dr Liam Fox and the present government will also be so compromised and minded to create with such a Whitehall folly and bureaucratic blunder, an aggrieved and smart special force, against which there is never a defence.

I can think of no finer dedicated outfit it is more dangerous to cross, for their expertise in deadly intelligence contact with the irregular and unconventional, topples tyrants and pariah states, which is something which it is always wise to remember and best never to forget whenever suspicions of foul play are surfacing at home.

And there is always an army of special forces out there, for from cradle to grave, once SAS, always SAS.

Have a nice day. Take care. It's a crazy jungle out there.

More nails to secure the lid of the coffin

Blair will also appear in a special BBC programme with interviewer Andrew Marr to promote the book.

Oh dear, just as everyone has suspected, is the BBC as a puppet and failed governance and government tool.

And that is because of personal professional failings in the individuals right at the top of its administrative programming trees/feathered oversight nests.
