And now ..... something in a familiar vein although completely different, DB? Or is it something you have been expecting and have well planned for? :-) In either case, are any and all future possibilities always enhanced as noble dreams one can cherish and deliver to and for humanity.

"Either the elite are having to move too fast, or they still don't understand the depths of those who better see the big picture, or Assange is more or less what he portrays himself to be...but with not as much content as the hype justifies. This third possibility makes little sense." .... Posted by Bionic Mosquito on 2/3/2011 10:12:08 AM

Bionic Mosquito, Hi, [and I must admit that I did think of writing Bionic Mossad, but decided not to for any number of reasons which are hardly important in the big scheme of things] that third possibility could be seriously enhanced if those in the second probability were to provide new content for justifiable hyping.

And thanks DB for that robust and perfectly accurate and immaculately timed, "DB Mission Statement" .... Posted between 4:35:41 PM and 4:52:45 PM on 2/3/2011. I was starting to doubt your free market credentials /independent gene and questioning whether you had any teeth and a bark. It is good to see that you have a crushing bite and ferocious roar whenever needed and/or under fire.

"Why can't we be perpetually astonished?" .... Reply from the Daily Bell

I'm with you 100% on that, DB. Knowing what I might, is it something which is quite natural and constantly guaranteed to be reinforced by future events being presently programmed into the System.

PS Regarding the "DB Mission Statement", whenever it is as it is and as is said and agreed, is Future Control a very sophisticated RapidEProgram with Elfish support and ERGnomIQ Controls? ....... http://www.astonmartin.com/eng/rapidetruepower

Hi, Steven,

This tale surely has one wondering on what skeletons are hiding in former NSA deputy director Barbara McNamara's cupboard, and by inference, freelancing rogues within the NSA, or agents formerly in NSA, which is always the clear and present danger with any form of intelligence operation....... retired former colleagues [or active present ones as would be freelancing rogues] using their knowledge and circle of contacts to go into business for themselves and that invariably has them creating conflicts and battling against the system which schooled them, which is an unpalatable treachery, in every case. But hey, that's capitalism for you, money talks, and leads the blind to their doom and/or just desserts, which may very well be one and the same thing.

And that was an impressive apology and revision of opinion upon further examination of evidence/facts/metadata. Far too many would run away like cowards and refuse themselves the opportunity to set the record straight in similar situations which would warrant clarification and/or correction. Bravo. Respect.

Err ..... getting back to the issue, or non-issue of fiat currency as an energiser for ideas that invent industry and business/activities to stop smarter animals vegetating and going feral and cannibal/warlike, the secret of success for the system would appear to be ensure that the supply is given to those who can spend it freely to generate progress and worth with the sharing and management of novel intelligent ideas which create energetic currency flow, whilst the worst thing that one can do, is to give it to bankers to secure in their vaults. That is the problem which is constantly and consistently being avoided/not being aired and changed.

Nota Bene: It is not possible to hide a huge white elephant herd in the middle of a small room, no matter how many bought and paid for suits would be denying it's there, and destroying the furniture/system superstructure. It may be that the system is basically sound but presently is it criminally abused and/or  wrongly used.

Oh and I thought this was not incorrect either whenever I read it .... "Economics .... The science of explaining tomorrow why the predictions you made yesterday didn't come true today."  ..... http://www.despair.com/laptopskins1.html

And from the selection there, is this one, which also struck a chord and caused me a wry smile and a chuckle  ....."Government, If you think the problems we create are bad, just wait until you see our solutions.

Start a Whole New Dream is the KISS Solution. Leave all present mistakes in history and start with a clean page, in a virgin manuscript for a New Great Book and open with "In the Beginning, there is always everything to be made presently available for the future with a smart intelligence supply and free fiat currencies..... streams of source for enterprise and evolving growth."

Based on real world evidence, the likelihood of state organised control in virtual worlds is ZERO

I would like to posit that very few are intellectually equipped to be anywhere near qualified or effective in being able to thwart a smart cyber attack/assault/incursion/experience/call it what you will, and as for rules of engagement, well ....... good manners and the thought that there might be children reading El Reg prevents me from expressing an adult opinion on that admission of defeat even before any real virtual battles have begun. Indeed, such is the nature of the virtual theatre of operations, that all meaningful engagements are won before they are even suspected and then acknowledged as being of great concern and an attack vector being exploited. There will though be other lesser skirmishes by others into rogue mercenary campaigns of a selfish indulgent nature which can be easily blocked and countered, with prosecution and/or persecution of the perpetrators being a most popular attraction and distraction for news and views/media.

What sort of an eejit allows an institution with a right dodgy business model*, which can only survive and prosper obscenely if it delivers enslaving debt to eejits and their social circle, to survive and prosper and blight their existence and destroy their dreams.

* You go into a bank today, to look for start-up capital to start up a new business tomorrow, which exactly copies the banks modus operandi, and the manager will call you a criminal and advise that they are not prepared to entertain the business, good day.

Bend over please, like good little boys and girls. This won’t hurt …. much.

"Central banking, after all, is an art not a science." ..... That would be kindergarten finger painting art then, DB, for giving to granny to hang on her fridge door with a magnet?

Is not the following extract from a great Vanity Fair article on Ireland's monetary woes .... http://www.vanityfair.com/business/features/2011/03/michael-lewis-ireland-201103 ..... an exact mirror copy of the Fed buying its own US treasury bonds?

[blockquote] There aren't a lot of Irish financiers or real-estate people who have emerged with a future. In America the banks went down, but the big shots in them still got rich; in Ireland the big shots went down with the banks. Sean Fitzpatrick, a working-class kid turned banker, who built Anglo Irish Bank more or less from scratch, is widely viewed as the chief architect of Ireland's misfortune: today he is not merely bankrupt but unable to show his face in public. Mention his name and people with no interest in banking will tell you with disgust how he disguised millions of euros in loans made to himself by his own bank. What they don't mention is what he did with the money: invested it in Anglo Irish bonds! When the bank failed Fitzpatrick was listed among its creditors, having (in April 2008!) purchased five million euros of Anglo Irish subordinated floating-rate notes.[/blockquote]

And where is the following wrong, in this piece of blarney ...... "What sort of an eejit allows an institution with a right dodgy business model*, which can only survive and prosper obscenely if it delivers enslaving debt to eejits and their social circle, to survive and prosper and blight their existence and destroy their dreams.
