Is it a closely guarded state secret that Blighty pulls Uncle Sam's strings ... . or is it a fact more generally known, but just not talked about?

Err ... is not any proposal to trade oil in anything other than dollars not met with war and destruction, Dr Paul? Is that not the American way which is destroying the nation and rendering its lead global geo-political status, an extraordinarily sick joke around the world?

And having a free market economy exchange which is programmed to trip and close in the event of sudden losses/flash crashes, is another dumb move which presents the world with a picture which shows a weak and crooked and rigged system of imaginary wealth which is not kosher, rather than being any demonstration of strong administration with vibrant and vital intelligence and fab intellectual property.

Change the games or perish would seem to be really sound and profound virtual advice, methinks, and now that it is shared, would anything less than what is needed to be done only confirm the madness present in current systems controllers, for it always boils down to individuals in the end, with some knowing what to do for the better with a beta when programs collapse and other who don't.

"The point being made is a profound one; what is being visited on the Middle East will not long be confined to that area. What is being done there will soon be visited on the West itself. There is no use fooling one's self about this." ..... Daily Bell After Thought
Quite so, and that was a wonderful tale, DB, and far better than anything thought real and currently presented and certainly surely worthy of Langley and Fort Meade attention and jointed Hashshashin development, for it has cosmic majic potential in deed, indeed. In fact, a great game changer no less, for the West should they have GNOME SMARTs for the Live Operational Virtual Environments of Reality.

The danger of fooling oneself is that one ends up being a fool fooling others, but who are not fools and who have much smarter tools ......
Sounds like New America’s Brian Fishman is an Al Qaeda operative and certain fanatic of dumb war games against smarter enemies with better beta and virtual communications systems.
Grow up, Brian, there's a good chap, things have moved on and you are compromising home fields and threatening to expose US credibility to global ridicule and catastrophic base meme deconstruct.

Yes, this will be my first full book since Nanosystems, and a lot has happened since then.” … Eric, in reply to Alex, July 22, 2011 at 1:42 am UTC
Indeed there has been, Eric, and a lot more than is ever going to be freely admitted and officially revealed, lest it causes a chaotic rout with crashing global financial markets and ignorant blind panic and a very specifically targeted and anonymous revolution against perceived deserving ruling heads of everyone’s misfortune, and against which there is no available defense or attack facility.

Much better than such is an orderly affair, so that incredible increased value is delivered to that which would be in virtual remote control of events to be staged … or not, ….. for of course there always such choice available to make it so valuable.

It is as well to be mindful of the following …. “Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” …Carl Sagan, US astronomer & popularizer of astronomy (1934 – 1996)

And There was no evidence from our review to suggest any impropriety on behalf of Council Officers or Members directly involved in the Assessment Panel that was responsible for administering the process for the award of the lease at the Lock Keeper’s Inn and making recommendations to Council in this regard. sort of says, without actually saying it, that there is likely impropriety indirectly on behalf of Council Officers or Members directly involved in the Assessment Panel that was responsible for administering the process for the award of the lease at the Lock Keeper’s Inn and making recommendations to Council in this regard.
Commissioning Deloitte to produce a report seems quite onerous. There’s a cracking disclaimer on the front of the report – common to other Deloitte reports – that states that
[the report] was not intended to be made available or communicated to any other part other than Castlereagh Borough Council. It was not created in contemplation of the needs of someone requesting it under the Freedom of Information Act and no other party is entitled to rely on our report for any purpose whatsoever …
Section 1.5 of the report also instructs Castlereagh Borough Council that:
You should consult with us promptly should you receive any requests which you consider requires disclosure of the contents of this report, either in whole or in part, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
That is just so typical of a right dodgy dossier presenting findings which just aren’t kosher, and if paid for with public funds, a bloody impertinent cheek of an inclusion. Such pretentious arrogance is just so pathetic.

Just out of curiosity, what was the final bill for the report and who paid for it and with what funds?
